8350 @ 5ghz , that is an Overclock right, doesnt count!!! has to be 5ghz all cores out of the box, no Overclocking?? and a BOOST clock shouldnt count, it should be the base clock that hits 5ghz on all cores 24/7 to be considered a world first 5ghz cpu!! but thats not how it is??
more like say an ..
Intel Core i7 8900k Eight-Core Processor (16 Threads) @ 5ghz base clock and a 5.4 ghz boost clock (all cores) 5.7ghz (1-2 cores) (JUST AN EXAMPLE, NOT A REAL CPU!)
OR
(2nd Gen zen core,(2019) not zen+ like the 2000 series)
AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 3rd GEN Eight-Core Processor (16 Threads) @ 5ghz base clock and a 5.4 ghz boost clock (all cores) 5.7ghz (1-2 cores) (JUST AN EXAMPLE, NOT A REAL CPU!)
What you said is very confusing.
My CPU is 5.0 across all cores, non boost. If you want to get Technical the 9590 is the first 5.0GHz chip which is the same cloth as the 8350. The 8700K is just a factory overclocked part, nothing more.
