Oi lads and lasses!

I look into building my childhood dream setup and want to figure out if there is a specific source for coolers and cooling parts from around 2007. I´d like to see the CPU under water.

Question is, how available are original blocks from that time today? I have trouble finding some. And for the memory it´s even worse, aftermarket memory cooling is pretty much all gone in the trash thanks to modern RAM. (I didn´t ask for this! stupid progression! Why can´t DDR4 run at 4V)
Atleast for LGA775 it´s not a problem to find modern stuff if I fail to get something else.

Scythe Ashura for CPU, there are clamp style fans for ram area too, you may look at Thermalright or swiftech for ram coolers too

I know of those clamp fans, but I would love to find something like this:

Why not buying AIO with LGA 775 support ?

If you like that look you can always go for some OCZ Reapers.

Not as crazy, but decently crazy.

I have some old OCZ Flex DDR2 9600, where you can Liquid Cool them in a loop, but you can use them without Liquid cooling.

Look under hot deals thread for the $30 EVGA AIO from Amazon

I know it isn't ideal or original but I currently have an ID AIO cooling my girlfriends Q6600, I didn't pay anything for mine but as far as I recall they're £35 from Amazon.

I use Aisbaer 240 to "water cool" a QX6850.
Although... I did exchange stock fans for PWM Delta 3k RPM ones.

Thank you all for the replies, but I´m not looking for an AiO because I already have this.

It´s no problem to get a block for 775 today, but I wanted to try and stay a bit authentic. I liked the look of the Zalman waterblocks, but they don´t seem to sell them anymore.

The Thermalright ram-heatsinks are cool and the closest thing to the ram(m)bock from Alpenföhn yet. Well I will try to hunt some used parts for a week or two and see if I can find anything, if not I´ll buy new.
