I'd say it was about 2008 when I changed from liking flashy lights etc...to appreciating a pc that's simple and understated. With that said...I just purchased an RGB AIO cooler from Thermaltake for my pc. The price was about the same as the non RGB coolers and my Thermaltake P1 looked absolutely empty without something on the right side of the case.

I'm not up with what is the latest and greatest trend, but I have been around pc's for a long time and know Thermaltake well. Their cases have gotten a helluva lot better looking over the last few years. I can remember when I was purchasing their Volcano 11+ coolers with a Tt duct and tickled pink...and I can also remember looking at their cases and not knowing what to think. I think that lasted for a decade...:). Again though....as of late...everything I've seen from them gets a pass from me. Appearance wise. Maybe a little too much lighting for some...but the designs seem decent enough.

Lian Li should hire their designer. Since my original purchase of their V1000 and the V2100 back in 2005/2006...it's been a slippery slope. I've been in pain the whole way. I loved their cases...but the metal(and their original ideas) just kept getting thinner....and thinner....and thinner....and, well you get the idea.

tl;dr: I like Thermaltake.

Since I mentioned RGB in another thread this morning, I'll post this picture here from my archives circa 2003. This was my first rendition of CCFL RGB. Please note the small metal plaque in the top right corner of the window and the Volcano 11+ with Duct.

shame curved glass wouldn't be easier to produce, i really loved that one model they had, that has a full acrylic top and side panel all seamless, nothing getting in the way of the view. would be gorgeous in a dark tinted curved glass format.
