Ever heard of Dream Machines? They are a Polish company that produces relatively affordable high quality stuff, and the DM1 FPS is their newest (and I'm certain best) mouse. It features a PMW3389 optical sensor, Huano switches rated for 20 million clicks, an all-new, extremely flexible cable, and more.

This looks amazing, but then I would say that as the Steelseries Sensai is my favourite mouse of all time (as it's basically an upgraded Intellimouse explorer and that was awesome). Since Steelseries stopped production it's becoming very hard to find new Sensai (at least the decent spec ones). Currently running a Diablo III edition on my desktop and a Fnatic edition on my laptop, but when these die I will definitely be looking at these Dream Machines copies, the software even looks the same so +1 there :)

Top review.

If I didn't stock up on mice a while ago this would definitely be on the top of my list, great review.

Good review, as usual, but the white on white (mouse/background) of the photos makes it difficult to evaluate the shape and size.

I'm part of the small minority(?) that loves the huano blues. When my G102s omrons started double clicking out of the blue i bought huano blues for 50c/switch. Love their tactile click and so far it hasn't failed me compared to omron that randomly develop the double clicking problem.

I would add calling a white mouse "noir" as a pro. Just for having the balls to do it :D

Yeah, I've struggled a lot with it, and this came up as the best result. I've tried it with a black background too, but then the black mice didn't show properly. :D

I hear you, it's really entirely up to personal preference. Huanos are decent, they are just too stiff for my taste.

Note for further reviews: prepare white, black and grey backgrounds for photo shoots ;)
And forget about shape and size, in low-contrast scenes, even the best cameras struggle to focus properly.

Did they ever fix the input lag or smoothing?

The sub-2000 CPI smoothing is not very detectable actually, AFAIK the variable FPS causes it to show, which means it's only there at specific speeds. It shouldn't be significant below 2000. I'll update the graphs and the review once I'll have some spare time on my hands. :)

There isn't any input lag or smoothing below 1,900 CPI, that was a misunderstanding from my side. Since then I don't use the GPW for comparisons, as it operates with a variable framerate, thus the graphs aren't always reliable.
