EVGA 1080 Ti SC2 vs Gigabyte RTX 2080 OC Windforce

Both are the same price, brand new. (8 USD difference)

1080 Ti
Pros:
More VRAM - 11GB
Better brand and usually has better warranty

RTX 2080
Pros:
Has RTX/DLSS, yes i know, today is kinda meeh, but it's a feature, whatever i use it or not
It's newer, means i probably will get more performance boost over time
I think it has better resell over 2 years

Which one would you pick?

with the 1080Ti going out of production, creating a shortage and thus bumping up the prices. you really didnt need to ask. if its the same money anyway. just get the latest and greatest.

I was looking to upgrade myself and couldn’t decide between RTX or GTX. I ended up going RTX just for the fact that the older GTX GPUs have increased in price and are much harder to find now.

Well 1st off.... I would never buy a EVGA SC.

As for gaming performance ....

Make sure whatever model you pick has 400A GPU

Problem with that is there’s no way of knowing if it’s a 400A Chip until he gets it and takes it apart
