Provable GTX 750Ti from what I've seen.
For %100 pull the heat sink up wipe the thermal paste and just go by the GPU model etched.
Edit:
Did a quick research might be GTS 450.

Take pictures of each ram chip info and also get a ram chip count too.

GPU-Z has a beta fake card identifier tool now

In the process of removing the fan and heatsink, one of the screws are no good so it will take a minute.

Can't get the heatsink off because of the one screw. I thought it was a gts 450 but when I go and download drivers and install them it still listed as a gtx 960

That would be because the BIOS says it's a GTX 960. If you want to "fix" the card, you need to take it apart, find out what it really is, and flash a BIOS that should work on it. Easier said than done. But still doable...in theory anyway.

...just go by the GPU model etched.
They remove that to make it hard to identify(they know you might want to replace the TIM at some point, and it would be a dead giveaway). You have to go by the arrangement of the surrounding SMD components.

Hmm. Looks like familiar data. Most of the vid below is him testing the card against another in a racing game, but there are some stretches of video of the card itself.

The site on which I found the vid are below, but CLICKER BEWARE the page throws to a NSFW site via script if you're not careful. Pictures linked on that sire are already here, don't click the link unless you're aware the danger.

eBay is flooded with these fake graphics cards coming out of China. We are testing such a GTX 960 with 4 GB memory, that I purchased from eBay and we will take it apart to see what GPU and memory it actually comes with. I will try flashing the video card back to its stock form, and also trying out older drivers. This is really a scam, so if the price seems too good to be true, do a bit of research. Report any fake items and if you purchased one, put in a dispute and get your money back.

High resolution photos of the card if anyone is interested:

Benchmark Scores the MLGeesiest
personally, id run a benchmark with a lengthy result thread based on it, liek heaven , or Valley, etc. Id run the bench, take the score, and match it to the results section of the thread based on that benchmark, & see what scores your card most resembles, its likely that card, or similar. it will certainly help you narrow down the possibilities, as even Oc'd cards perform within +/- 10% of their Stock

use this test,
& check your scores here

FWIW, a 960 (based on that thread) falls in the 800 point category for 1080p

A picture would be nice.
This is how a GTX960 chip should look. Note that the actual chip indicator is PAINTED after manufacturing, testing and fuse burning (different models come from the same line, some having deactivated cores).

And a GTX750Ti:

GPU-Z says GF106 so It is with out a doubt a GTS450. So Yeah, Brütal Legend would stutter in 1080p on Linux. I tried that.
