Sure they won't come with a controller, but you can deck out the case fully with that. And shortening the time of installation, how? If it doesn't just clip on or something and just uses screws, the time savings would be negligible.

If it's 20$ less than maybe it would make sense. Since you can buy decent 240mm AIOs that include fans already for around 70$.

Innovation?? = High pricing

I like the idea actually - Reduce cable clutter by taking advantage of standardised fan spacing. Power two fans from one header and same for RGB.

Shame about the visual design - Antec really used to be a fantastic company but this looks pretty mid 2000's to me. I'd have much preferred it in flat black to silver, and with the outside edges being a reg'lar ol' 90 degrees instead of them trying to do this weird shrunken corners thing.

There's potential here I think, but the idea needs some refinement. First off, the idea allows for avoiding the current problem of an RGB triple rad needing 6 cables for fans - you could do all of that from just two headers instead. And for a radiator it's fine not to have individual PWM control of each fan because users would always match RPMs for a rad anyway.

Also lets say that what antec did was put the fans on like a small angle like this:

What they could do would be use a foam or rubber gasket to create a seal between the fan and the radiators and direct the airflow through the fins without there being a dead spot behind the fan motors. Potentially quite a good idea.

I was just asking myself, I know I have a box full of lighting up 120mm fans plus a variety of spliters/adapters but is there a way for me to blow $70 on the exact same thing?? Thanks Antec!

Those were completely useless... This however has some use albeit situational. Price is a little ridiculous and there are definitely cheaper and better options out there but if you had to have it you can use it to cool all sorts of stuff... GPUs. VRMs, RAMs - skies the limit. With RAM coolers they were just one trick ponies Unless you modded them, you couldnt really use them for anything else.

I could see it being useful if it were just a case for two standard fans. However, the fans look embedded.

This product has a lot of potential to simplify adding fans to a radiator, I see 3 and maybe 4 fan versions someday (120mm & 140mm). Having a single cable to power everything therefore reduced cable clutter which is good but the only downside i could see is that if one fan failed and then the whole unit is useless unless one manufacturer designs a way to swap fans if one is broken then yeah I know why buy one multi-fan unit if one fan could fail, then why not buy regular fans (argument starts here...) but this product has possibilities so don't dismiss it outright.

70 bucks looks steep, but a pair of good aRGB fans doesn't cost much less. If they have comparable quality and CFM as Corsair's for example, price doesn't seem so outrageous all of a sudden. I personally am not a target for this one

While I myself like most of the commenters here would never buy this, I'm always happy to see innovation.

That being said I think the design could use an overhaul, as others mentioned a simpler design would be more appealing; perhaps something along the lines of EKWB's design language; perhaps just a simple rectangular design.

Also price could use an adjustment.

Maybe Noctua will have one by the time I have the money for a custom loop many years from now haha

Wot ? Whether they have plasma engines with self-generation energy or something to cost so much ! The ordinary 2 cheap fens are fixed into one housing which actually reduces the price invested by 30% would like to sell ten times more expensive !Only to add color diodes, in that case, the number of them has decreased ! and has nothing to do with the function !Therefore it is well sold. some customers are really blind and with a lighted product ,they do not see how they are taken to the slaughterhouse .Well, sorry for the cruel expression, since the strain is full .
