Cut the crap out, you won't get a 64 bios to flash correctly to that card, just overclock using wattman or msi afterburner.
I meant asking for a v64 because 56 bios is not working but it accepts v64 bios tries in atiflash

I have the same card (Sapphire Pulse Vega 56) and funnily enough i had issues with the bios as well. Mind you they were caused by me (broke the bios switch which gave me the "id mismatch" message along with a couple of other ones but i managed to fix it by soldering the pins together, now my only option is the turbo bios.

I do remember the quiet bios gave me errors when i tried to flash it but the turbo one had no issues. Perhaps the quiet bios is set as read only..

P.S. the left bios is the turbo one.

Are you sure the left bios is the turbo one? In their site they the left is the power save Mode. Can I ask you what does it show as you Max power while you are in turbo? My says 165wats in Gpuz and I thing turbo should say 180

I bricked the right side by mistake but I think it was the turbo one

If you mean the "Board Power Limit" in gpu-z then yes, it says 180w. Who knows, maybe they made a mistake and swapped the BIOSes around lol.

It doesnt matter what side the bios is flashed to as long as you have the correct one coded for the board.

So do you have a Vega56 bios working or a vega 64 bios working???

I Know it doesnt make a difference, was Just to make sure If i bricked the turbo bios. Dunno in their site it says left side is the power save one but I read that in some cases its the other way arround só guess you are one of those cases

Attempt to upload your working graphics card bios to the database via GPU-Z, it should give you a Link, post that link here.

Flashcat is a spi flasher? I have no clue how to do that kind of stuff but maybe I have a friend that can help me. By curiosity if im not pushing my gpu to the limit does it make much difference the 15 wats? Does it reflect on overall performance or only in terms of achievable max power?

It just means a higher power ceiling.

You would have to peel through all the Sapphire Vega 56 pulse bios for one with 180, if any are available.

Right now GF 1000 and Vega series cant really be flashed.

By the way since you said a spi flasher is out of your league, either you better learn how to use it or stop bricking your cards by soft flashing to begin with.

Rule is never flash both sides of a dual bios, back them both up and also pay attention to what side you are flashing.

Acknowledge that flashing may brick it and have recovery means. For vega and gf 10= Flashcat.

You don't need to flash a different BIOS to change the power limit. Just do the SoftPowerPlay mod and set the power limit to whatever you want.

Here...I'll even do most of the work for you. I made 2 SoftPowerPlay mod .reg files from the 2 BIOSes you uploaded. One named U44.reg with the 165W power limit, and one named UO2.reg with the 180W power limit. Just pick one and click on it. Click yes when it asks if you want to continue adding it to the registry. Then restart your PC. Once you've done that you'll effectively be running with whichever BIOS you did the mod for(the 376A0EBG.U44 165W BIOS, or the 376A0EBG.UO2 180W BIOS). If you want to delete the mod run DDU(or open regedit and delete the entries from the registry manually). The mod also needs reapplied every time you change drivers(I'm pretty sure anyway). If you want to mod the mod use the Vega64SoftPowerTableEditor. If you want to make a new SoftPowerPlay table to mod use OverdriveNTool 0.2.8, and make one from a different BIOS file.

I understand, my biggest mistake was missundersatding the bios switch because I was ready to loose on bios but really tought I was trying to flash the power save bios.

Tks a lot, as far as I understand this is totally safe if it´s a reg file right? So by curiosity could I instead of flashing the bios like a dumb ass was possible to mod the memorie voltage ceiling per example? Yes only thing I care now is getting the performance power and UV and OC from there. After drive updates the mod will still work just fine or will need to edit it in the future?

Im more than happy with that and V56 performance!

It's safe because I made it, and I'm not some kind of dishonest hacker trying to screw with your registry. You can open the files with a text editor to verify that.

You can try and change the memory voltage. I don't know if it will work or not. Here's where it is when you open the .reg file with the editor.

I took the mods I made for you and changed the memory voltage to 1350mV(like a Vega 64). You can try those and see if you're able to OC the HBM2 higher. It would be better if you could probe the card with a voltmeter to verify it actually changed the voltage. But that's easier said then done.

After driver updates just reapply the mod to make sure it wasn't changed or deleted by the driver installer. I also edited in the part where you need to restart your PC after applying the mod. So don't forget to do that too.

I was asking if it was safe in terms of burning the card but I appreciate that you are not trying to hack me!! I Will try this at home. Só if it works and I get the same advantage of flashing to a v64 bios why is this not more recomended? I saw you talk about it in other thread but I already bricked it by then. Really tks for the help man, im glad I can fix my mistake!

It's safe for the card because nothing was changed from the factory BIOS settings. Except for the ones where I increased the memory voltage to match that of a Vega 64. But Vega 56 and 64 use the same memory. So if it's safe for Vega 64 it's safe for Vega 56.

I don't know why it's not more recommended. Maybe because it doesn't work? I'm mean the memory voltage increase. It's been basically proven that increasing the power limits with the SoftPowerPlay mod works. And I've personally used it to increase the core voltage on my Vega 64 and found that it works for that too. Though it's a bit tricky to make it work right. And it's kinda pointless to because the card has AVFS(Adaptive Voltage and Frequency Scaling) which just throttles the voltage and power based on temps anyway(regardless of what you try and tell it to do). More voltage increases temps and power consumption, and AVFS corrects for that by throttling the core clocks and lowering the core voltage to get the temps in check. So it's fruitless to add more core voltage without being able to cool the core better too. In a nutshell, you can increase the power limits and add as much voltage as you want with Vega...BUT...if you're not also cooling the card better AVFS is going to throttle the card to the point that it makes no difference...and/or you'll not be able to achieve higher clocks or get any increase in performance by doing so.

Bottom line: Vega is SUPER locked down every which way it possibly can be. You've gotta work damn hard, and really know what you're doing, to squeeze any more out of it than you get out of the box.

Tried your mode, it worked for power limit, it says 180W now. The memorie I dont think it worked, in tomb raider I get insta artifacts after 950 but strangely I managed to realize a firestrike benchmark with memorie at 1100 dont know how. At what temperature does vega start to tothle normally? My system is kinda cool even in stock but I dont expect miracles. I guess 1040/1050mV is my undervolt balance point and I can only push to 1650 here. Guess it´s fine tho. Again, tks a lot for the help, you are a life savior! Even If I dont use all the power up at least I dont feel that I cripled my card I guess!
