Where are you getting your source for "One UK retailer has over a 100 just from one brand."?

Also one baseless source doesn't "refute" the statement made by the UK's largest retailer of specialist PC gaming components, and Gibbo has a pretty amazing track record for accuracy with the stuff he occasionally lets slip.

Remember when Gibbo said (He had to edit it)

Gibbo said:
Seems the rumoured hash rate on VEGA is 70-100 per card, which is insanely good if true.

Trying to devise some kind of plan so gamers can get them at MSRP without the miners wiping all the stock out within 5 minutes of product going live.

Didn't turn out so well but hey he wants to sell his inventory. Can't blame him for try'n.

That guy from OCUK has been full of it for a while now - why are his unconfirmed tweets getting posted as if it is truth? Lets not turn into WccfTech..

I'm afraid its rapidly going that direction. Even redacting false articles is apparently not on the radar here lately.

if some1 buy radeon VII and try sell it ebay, good luck!

no1 buy it, i dont take it even free.

useless junk

amd hypeting that its beat rtx 2080, on it dont.

also,

rtx 2080 tdp 215W
radeon VII tdp 300W

huge different,EVEN radeon VII is 7nm process!!!!

lausy engineering work amd, lausy efficiency, lausy speed and sure if it cost over 500$,its pricey.

I will share the sentiment of the rest and have reported you. Every topic I see the exact same annoying dirt on the page from you. Start a blog or something.

Blame nvidia. They can’t afford high quality shills anymore.

You really think people will shell out more than MSRP for this??? I mean there ARE better cards money can buy. Whose gonna buy these then?

AMD Fanboys who didn't get in line fast enough. I can ASSURE you these'll be on ebay above MSRP.

Blame nvidia. They can’t afford high quality shills anymore.

The idea that there is any real checks being written for "shilling" is as laughable as the shills themselves, man.

Report posts you feel are not worthy of remaining, and the mods will take a look at it. Do remember that the mods are volunteering their free time for this, so having a sense of expectation as this isn't very conducive.

He's from Finland and believe me or not, his Finnish is pretty damn similar. A normal Finn writes better at 10 years old. Been trolling on Muropaketti and io-tech for over a decade.

10h 30min until the NDA is over in Finland, waiting for benchmarks.

Of all people, you choose to believe Jensen? Seriously... Jensen?

LOL. Man, that's like asking Ford Motor Co why I should buy a Prius.

What I don't get is why AMD bothered at all with this card. Just to stay relevant? The engineering costs were not that big anywas comping from its MI60 sibling? RTX cards are not selling very well to start with, and this card is (as much as I hate it) outright worse value.

I understand people are tempted to compare this card with RTX 2080 given the similar price point. But in reality, this card falls between RTX 2070 and the GTX 1080ti judging by AMD's claim that it will be 25% faster than Vega 64. In some cherry picked benchmarks it matches the 2080, but on average it will be 15-20% lower in performance, the same way the Vega 64 fell short of the 1080. And it will be doing so 6 months late, at a much higher TDP, without the bells and whistles of RTX and DLSS, and at the same price point.

That's my plan, the way I see it AMD users are more than happy to years for the same performance, hell most boycott Nvidia completely so the dickheads have no choice but to wait and buy when it finally turns up. Win win.

Make it $2500. They are buying it without seeing benchmarks.

seems a decent card. few driver issues for the reviewers (not a shocker) seems about 2080 lvls better at times and worse at others. seems to be memory based it smashes nvidia, core grunt its a bit slower.. (checked multiple reviews now and allmost all agree, a few that dont. but testing methods are probably the issue)
still cant find any uk prices here but you can get a 2080 8gb for about £680 id imagine the vii would need to be abour £640 or so to be a better option even if it does have 16gb

still sit back n see what the pricing is and if they can nail the drivers down sooner rather than later i guess, may well end up being an awesome card. but the £40-£50 saving would be a nice selling point. its a shame they couldnt do it.. possibly should have just had 12gb ram.

it is a 2yr old card from amd and still has driver issues? they rebranded a compute card as a gaming version. amd never fixed their drivers.

I'm sorry, I just expected the moderation to hold the same high quality as it used to...I feel that the trolls are slowly taking over, but that's just my opinion.

i wouldnt say trolls are taking over but tpu is infested with fan boys (and possibly girls) of all the major mfrs. its a little dissapointing to see people so unwilling to flex.
quite a few seem to have some overwhelming pride when the other team dont quite meet the standards that was expected, (i honestly think they like it more when the other side underperform compared to their fave mfr doing really well)
and that's true for all sides of the fanbase, its genuinly toxic.
