that is until more than 6 cores/threads are available used... then the 9700k is looking up, pud in hand wondering what hit it.The funny thing and especially the irony is that a Core i7 9700K will smoke this Xeon and mobo out of this dimension.

It was presented as both. They had it clocked at 5GHz (with ridiculous cooling, but still). They made it look like this was the ultimate CPU with the best of both worlds - loads of cores for any highly threaded workload, while still being ridiculously fast per core.that is until more than 6 cores/threads are available used... then the 9700k is looking up, pud in hand wondering what hit it.
Clearly the point of this cpu isnt to be a fast single threaded monster... like a drag car cant hang on a track. Why its compared that way... I have no idea.

You can always find insanely expensive hardware if you look. This is the top of the top tier stuff here, high prices are a given. Though I won't try to argue the fact that prices have gone up in general. Just pointing out this isn't the product to slam for its price.Welcome to the future of insanity where high end hardware is being charged closely to $2000. As per the example, this motherboard, the monitor and gpu below with links and most high end phones for now. If this continues then you will see midrange products to be $1000, so pay attention to it and if necessary boycott, do not buy, do not contribute for the facade.

That's nothing. You should see the prices for those in Japan. People there really lost any common sense with reality and life with the prices for hardware. Yeah, I understand you. Love enthusiast class hardware as well. This motherboard is so big that only two cases I know can fit it right nowIf I had "**** you" money, I would totally get it. I just love playing around with hardware. And I love huge motherboards. I'm all about EATX and up.

Oh, you're wrong. I'm only starting my "if I wouldn't buy it, then no one else has any use for it" critique.I was wondering how long it would take for you to start up the usual "Intel can do no wrong I will justify all their products forever" schtick.

ROG products have been used for ages for benchmarking, so I kinda understand why this is ROG branded.Do you make an active effort to type like a 9 year old trying to be "kewl" or does it just come naturally to you?
I'm with everyone else - ROG branding on this makes absolutely no sense - this product is going to be worthless for gaming and game engines will never "grow into" that many cores at such a low clockspeed.
Should have been a workstation branded board.

Like I pointed out to Metroid, you can always find crazy expensive things if you look. I just found a Lamborghini for $340k on cars.com, OMG cars are so expensive!I'm really angry and offended by this. We lost common sense with reality and life??
RTX price = Blame NVIDIA for that! Many of us here are complaining about the RTX cards being too expensive and many of us stick with our 1080/1080Ti. That price had nothing to do with us Japanese.
And way to cherry pick just to have a reason to write an insult against us again.
Did you even have a slightest idea about Gotenna?
This is the same monitor from ASUStek Japan:
ASUS ゲーミングモニター 27インチ ROG SWIFT PG27UQ
Some of my friends bought that monitor from that link, not from Gotenna.

And I am amused that some people from Europe thought they could go here and buy RTX card for a price cheaper than in their own countries. The travel cost alone is already expensive. And companies like ASUS and Corsair are always known for their high price, even here in Japan.Like I pointed out to Metroid, you can always find crazy expensive things if you look. I just found a Lamborghini for $340k on cars.com, OMG cars are so expensive!
Turing as a whole, though, is far too expensive... no matter where you are on the planet.
This post clearly tells who you really are. Nobody asked for an insult and you just gave one after you claimed you didn't insult anybody. How old are you exactly?I didn't insult you, or your nation, just the greedy salers who lost all their common sense by asking those prices.
But if you really want an 'isult' here is one. If you think the price for that monitor is still common sense at ~2300$, then you are part of the same sheeple who is fine with this and accept anything without question and remorse. Congrats! You are the perfect drone citizen, just as your ilustrious leader Abe wants you to be. Obedient and without any personality.

Again, that wasn't an insult, but if you feel insulted it's your business. Means that you are too sensitive and definetly I am NOT the kind of girl who going to give you a 45 degrees bow with a complete fake 'mousiwakegozaimasen'. Take it as a man, not like a sensitive flower. lolNobody asked for an insult and you just gave one after you claimed you didn't insult anybody. How old are you exactly?
English is just my 3rd language. Very callous of you to criticise my language abilities; or are you from the same lot who thinks that ALL gaijins should speak proper Oxford English? Oh, the hypocrisy. You couldn't even use or write English terms correctly.
I know this, there is also the import tax and all, but still, when the final price of a product sold here in JP is more than 150% over the original price, then you cannot find those "excuses" acceptable....Some of the retailers had to sell products, particularly electronics, with a price much higher than MSRP because they had to import the products themselves instead of buying from local distributors, probably because the products they wanted to sell might be out of stock when they needed them or even not available at all. The import tax was added to the cost, and to cover it and make profit they had to sell those products with much higher price. Obviously, not everybody knew about this thing in Japan, and some people just like making things up.
