CORSAIR decided that a RAPIDFIRE version of their K70 RGB MK.2 keyboard was not enough, and have since released another- the K70 RGB MK.2 SE. This special edition uses Cherry MX Speed Silver switches with a silver frame and white doubleshot-injected PBT keycaps, making for an impressive hardware and software package.

This one may look better in person... or id like a darker grey or black with white keys (perhaps an optional full keyset to buy separately). Definately would look good with a white pc/setup.

The low profile Cherry MX Speed switches on Corsair's low profile version of Rapidfire seems better spec wise quicker actuation and less travel.

One good reason this is a purchase worth considering is the use of PBT keycaps, making this a much more viable option over buying the normal black variant while adding another $50 for a complete PBT keycaps set. Also, I agree that Corsair should give a keycap remover as standard unless they're assuming those who bought the previous models already have them keycap remover thingy...

Whilst I wouldn't buy it in that colour, it does look pretty cool actually. Mind you, you would need the rest of your rig to match, otherwise it would look completely out of place.

....like the look of this keyboard. Looking for a replacement of my original K95 now. Possible contender but i just love the look of my K95's solid black with pure white script an soft white under glow......

Liked the look of it! It reminds me of the OG K70 which had blue leds only.

Alas I've got the black version and yea them keycaps need to splurge on the PBT ones.

Did you read the review? This uses PBT keycaps.

No F*ck my mistake I saw abs plastic, but it was about the case.
If my keyboard K70 Red could to be a PBT keycaps, but she is with ABS I pay the same price - 170$...

Something better always comes up, so don't have regrets over what you purchased previously. You can buy these keycaps separately as well if you prefer it.

$50 addon for those white PBT keycaps is kinda a good buy for your current keyboard. Weird at first, but at least you know the keys will last a little longer over the stock ones.
