Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
Is this a manual download? I'm not getting the update on my Steam version.
Mine showed I needed an update... do you have auto updates enabled? Have you checked to see if you have the options in game?

So we get approximately 1 RTX / DLSS game per 2 months.
By the time of 2020 , we could have a total of 8 games supporting RTX / DLSS ?
Thanks leather jacket, Praise the leather jacket.

the only title that was behind in their listed support was SOTR. That makes 4 titles now with more to come.

These things take time...show some patience. ;)

The leather jacket said these things "Just Works" and should SAVE time for the Devs.
Don't see why it would TAKE time tho.
Are you NOT believe in the mighty leather jacket himself ? :)

And yet a single demo from CryTek and Nvidia are already behind in this thing they might want maybe! They are hard to gauge sometimes.

so it's not just me imagining things

from a technical perspective definitely. SOTTR does shadows only, Metro does global illumination which is lighting + shadows

does Metro use GI on moving objects? I think that it does global illumination on only static objects. the shadows of moving objects (including characters and player myself) looks same as old games which is somehow rough and doesn't satisfy me.

IMO, Metro adopts real-time GI to help with the changing light of environment, but not moving/dynamic objects.
