The Pulsefire Core is HyperX's budget option for a gaming mouse, but according to its specifications, it can easily compete with more expensive mice. It features a 6,200 CPI PixArt PAW3327 optical sensor, Omron switches rated for 20 million clicks, 7 programmable buttons and customizable RGB lighting—all for less than 30 dollars.

What an incredible value at 30$. Its so nice to have those things around with the new sensors, now that even budget sensors are getting closer to flawless.
Thanks for the review

I never, ever, eveerrr read peripheral gaming reviews. But this one caught my attention. Wow, what a great value. From the cable, to the buttons. The sensor is impressive, even though its not "top of the line." The software can be tweaked, but I agree, 1+ gb is steep.

I'm needing a new cheap mouse and the G203 is cheaper where I live (ARS 1200 vs ARS 1600 for this Pulsfire Core), so I'm undecided between these two.

The G203 has main switches rated for only 10 million clicks, and it has a wheel encoder that can die pretty soon (my own experience). There's no information on the durability of the Core, but if it fits your hand better I'd go with it without hesitation.

Thank you very much for including the video, the sounds and quality is excellent and from your hand movement I can tell that the buttons are more firm then I would like especially the sides but this mouse looks like a great budget option.

Also excellent review!

Hello Friends,

I've a HyperX Pulsefire Core mouse, I had some issues with the scroll wheel, so I tried to clean it by spraying it with WD-40, but I connected the mouse to the computer before it become completely dry.

Now the optical led is not working (the red light) and I can't move the mouse, everything else is working (left and right clicks, scroll wheel and the RGB led).

can anyone help with this issue please?

Can it drag click, and if it can does it need modification to do so.

(by modification I mean putting tape on it)
