~75W and three slot, are they quite mad or just simply lazy?

Gaming needed some elevation, so they went for three stories high

Aren't these cards destined for prebuilts and mini-ITX systems? Three slots is just dumb. I can't imagine it saved them much money to skip the heat pipes and put a big ol' hunk of aluminum on there. 970's all came out double slot and mostly double fan. This triple slot thing needs to stay at the high level. This is just begging for returns because half the people that want this card can't fit it in their regular case.

Interesting how they compare it to GM206 that release in January 2015, and at that time hardly was competition to a 7850/R7 265 (Pitcairn PRO) had been around since early 2012. History repeats?

3 slots ... so many dual fan cards for the 75w segment. Seems like these form factors defeat the entire purpose of a humble card.

They are clearly targeting mainstream gamers that have a 950 or an old card like the R9 270. Nobody cares about the R7 265, that card was a dud when it launched and remained a dud until it faded into irrelevance. The 950 was about equal with a R9 270, and much more popular, so that's what they are comparing to.

This card is going to be quite the upgrade for mainstream gamers compared to a 1050. The 1050 was a big disappointment, barely doing any better than the 950. If this is truly 3x faster, even 2x, it's going to be quite the 1080p performer. Maybe even better than a 570.

Well if you call yourself a "mainstream" (I call that entry/budget) and still on a GTX 950 or a R9 270 in 2019 you are having a really dull experience at 1080p.

The guy / gal who writes these thing for EVGA already has a great resume for a WH spokesperson.

new price points ? ... 570 is faster for less money
the best gaming experience ? really ,,, nothin better ?
ice cold cooling ? ... does ice still come into being at 0C ?
advanced overclocking features with the all new EVGA Precision X1 software .... more advanced than what ?

I think it must be that advanced hyperbole engine that delivers all these great things.
