but for now the cpu limit for 1080p with 2080 ti could be a problem
Are 2080 Ti owners really playing games at 1080p? Is that really a realistic use case? The person I know personally has one just so he can drive 4k smoothly. The other co-worker who plays at 1080p with a 144hz panel still uses a 1080 Ti.

I have a 240hz monitor at 1080p, technically a 2080 ti isn't powerful enough. I can tell the difference between 144hz and 220 hertz or so. very fluid like. some people might prefer that like myself. ULMB is nice, but it hitches too much for my taste

As far as testing is concerned being least CPU-limited is the goal. The CPU for that today is 9900K. RTX 2080Ti - and to lesser degree next tier of cards like GTX 1080Ti, RTX 2080 and Radeon 7 - are quite CPU-limited at 1080p and that shows in the results.

No plans for fury x, I dropped it for last rebench and nobody noticed
Thanks for letting me know I'm nobody.

It makes good sense to test it so I would suggest a change of plans.

It would also be nice to see DOOM in the testing since, as far as I know, it is the best proof-of-concept for AMD's hardware.
