MSI Afterburner

I got my new GeForce GTX 1050Ti in my PC rig and ready to go, and when I opened up MSI Afterburner, both the temperature and the power limit controls were grayed out. I don't know anything about computers or what's happening here, so if you need any information feel free to ask me. Thanks!

Run it,
And post a screenshot here for us.

Did you play games on it yet? Does it work properly?

Another thing you can do (should do) is check for MSI Afterburner updates and install if they exist, reboot, then check if the problem persists.

Did you install drivers for the GPU? Is it running ok? What version of AB did you install?

Post up a screenshot of gpuz, please....

And that is why I asked you post gpuz... that isnt a 1050ti, you got ripped off. Return that thing immediately to Ebay or wherever you got it.

R.i.p for me, cost just over $100 and I'm not gonna get that much money again for a long time, shouldn't have bought off eBay, my fault. sorry for wasting your time, thanks.

That's a shame man, sorry to hear. Still, don't give up on refund just yet. Did you use PayPal for example? Or a creditcard? You may have insurance.

As I said... return it. File a claim with Ebay or paypal... etc. That is an old card and isnt close in performance.

I used a credit card but I don't know about anything of that matter, since I'm only 12 and I don't usually have any concerns. I will ask in a second, but quick question, will it still work well even if it's fake? It does seem to be working a bit better than my AMD Radeon R7 250x Core..

Yes, it will work...but as I said, it's a lot slower than what you tried to buy. Dont let then get away with this.

Can you put a link here to the Ebay auction you won so we can see it?

I don't remember which exact one it was, but I'm pretty sure it was listed as in Sydney but the seller was in Hong Kong, I'll link what I believe to be the purchase here. https://www.ebay.com.au/i/113706878791?chn=ps My father said he would sort out what happened in the morning.
