HP is on the verge of introducing their new gaming grade, Omen-branded gaming monitors. The main design option for these was pure refresh rate speed, with both monitors sacrificing on resolution - a 1080p density is all there is) for blazing fast, 240 Hz refresh rates. The panel type is, of course, the most capable of high refresh rates: TN. The Omen X 25 manages this feat with help of NVIDIA's G-Sync proprietary module, while the X 25f only features support for adaptive sync (this means it's likely G-Sync compatible, at the least, as well as being well paired with AMD's FreeSync).

HP have partnered with Blizzard, meaning these Omen monitors will be the official monitors of the Overwatch League. There's ambient lighting on the base of the panel, which features HP's "micro-edge display" with 1 mm bezels on three sides and a 100 mm, adjustable height stand. The HP Omen X 25 covers ports through 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 1x HDMI 1.4, and 2x USB 3.0 ports, while the X 25f offers 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 2x HDMI 2.0, and 2x USB 3.0 ports. The Omen X25 will be making an appearance in Europe in June for 630€ ($550), and will be released in the US by September of this year. The Omen X 25f will be available in early June in the US and late June in Europe, for $450 (€460).

lol $550. nah bruh. seen all the 240hz, they all have terrible colors. Dell has a 165hz TN 1440p at 24" and it looks close to IPS. 240hz ruins the image. wait until the tech improves folks. trust me. unless you a csgo pro of course.

You should check XG248Q then, wich I´m almost sure you didn´t as you consider Dell S24 good.....

240hz doesn´t ruin the image, TN panels are not meant for accurate colour reproduction, they are meant for fast paced games and low input lag. Actually I can´t even use 144hz anymore after using 240hz for so long. By far the best gaming experience I ever had in my life.

This is overpriced tho, you can get 240hz monitors for as low as 250€-300€ nowadays.

Your passive aggressive opinion is not shared by everyone.

Most of those are not true 240hz, they are frame-doubled 120hz panels.

Just stating facts. If the thinkgs a 600:1 contrast ratio panel is "good", when he sees XG24 with its 1200:1 he will change his mind. I just found funny how he can think S24 has a good panel when rtings clearly shows opposite.

As for your second line, no they are not interpoled 120hz panels. AlienWare AW2518HF, Asus XG258Q, ViewSonic XG2530, they are all native 240hz monitors, not 120hz. And you can find them from 250€ (AlienWare had that price last week on Amazon EU) to 300€ (asus and Viewsonic)-

They use exactly the same panel as this HP Omen. The newest 24,5 by AUO. This HP model has a Gsync module, and that´s why it is more expensive, just like the Asus PG258Q with the same panel and a Gsync module aswell. Not worth it at 240hz tho.

meh. ASUS already has the PG258Q, which is 1080p, 240Hz, G-Sync & a TN panel. Probably did better overall than this one for more-or-less the same price.

There's ambient light on these :D And still i'd find it difucult to justify spending more than 250 euro for 1080p panel, be it 1000Hz.

well not really if you want to run high settings as well, you will be hard pressed to find a videocard that can even reach 240 fps unless you run the best of the best.... twice.
