3090 is expected to be Radeon VII performance while 3090XT to have 10+% performance. But anyway, who cares, if you get RTX 2070 performance for $330?Welp. Navi is confirmed to be right below Radeon VII performance... meh.
And you think that you will get more fps on your 1080Ti in 1440P with Intel compared to a Ryzen? LOL @ you. Anyway, you have a 9700K, why do you want to change it?laptops are great if you can cool them proper, but I want a proper 1440p high refresh setup for my Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers binge session, has nothing to do with patience, its the free markets and its how i want to spend my money and time, i enjoy that mmo immensely and go back every new expansion for a good three months. i don't want to be limited by my laptop anymore, not for this game.
mmos are a lot more exciting at launch, i don't want to miss out on the new expansion "energy"
No, you don't need. It's not Intel. AM4 remains until 2020. Plus if you want PCI-E 4.0, you have to buy it too on Intel. So I don't get it what's good in your lying. Anyway, what do PCI-E 4.0 storage drives offer compared to the ones you can buy now? Even a SATA SSD is the same fast in loading Win and games as a PCI-E nvme drive.eh not really, if i went with ryzen 1700x or 2700x i would still need a new mobo if i wanted to upgrade to 3700x. because i personally want the new samsung pci express 4.0 storage drives that are inevitably coming, etc.
