Well, lots of other companies offer this "innovation" too, so whats the big deal ???

Those heat spreaders look really similar to Corsair's vengance series.

And here we go again with the completely FALSE and misleading "white" naming nonsense......IT IS NOT white ram, it's black ram with a white heat spreader slapped on it..... somebody should sue them (and all the other guilty parties) to stop this crap :(

Why is it Geil has to put their specs in a PDF? Is it really that hard to put them on their website?
It's also great that they use X and O as the symbols for fail or pass, something that's only used in China, Taiwan and Japan afaik.
Also, why would anyone buy a 3200 22-22-22-52 kit? I mean, that's about as bad as you could possibly get. Sure, it's at 1.2V, but so what?

Geil used to make good RAM, but this is just :banghead:

i think the original Geil Evo X RAM had an addressable RGB cable coming off each stick. So for them this is an "innovation" lol

Thats for plug and play. That RAM kit will boot with 1600MHz [3200MT/s] speed, unlike those 1800MHz [3600MT/s] which boot up with 1066 MHz and if you don not activate XMP it will run at 1066MHz.
Good to see a 1600MHz DDR4 at JEDEC profile.

I got the 2x8gb 3200mhz 16-18-18-36 kit for my 2600x, for $65 on Newegg, I'm hoping it performs well with the 2600x until I upgrade to
3000 series, if I do. Just lacking the board. I plan to purchase the Msi B450 Gaming Pro Carbon next week and to overclock the memory, CPU, and UV/OC my Sapphire Pulse Rx Vega 56. It may not be the "Best" memory on the market, but I like the look of it and loved the price. Any suggestions on Memory Oc?
