Well it does look like a Fractal case TBH. lets not beat around the bush here.

I cant help feeling that the fans at the top are gonna have their flow slightly restricted even if its only pushing air out. but then again that depends on the gap between the fans and the roof of the case. I remember my first generation Fractal Define XL case having something similar in the way of a 200mm fan. Luckily that fan was angled so the flow wasnt restricted but ive seen other cases of similar design recently and the flow wasnt great.

Those are my thoughts as well. I think some of the Phanteks cases have the little side vent thing going on at the top too which made me a bit hesitant on those. Not that they are proved bad or anything, it was just my hunch that cases with the open mesh at the top would just more effectively blast the hot air out of the case.

It would be interesting to see someone mod the H700i to have a mesh opening at the top to see if it makes any discernible difference.

the review fails to mention that the LED strip bulbs are clearly visible and not hidden, thus ruining the pretty look once its all in running in action.

Unless your going to be putting the case above your head - so youre looking up at it. Its not a problem. Once the side panel is on and youre looking at the case while it sits on your desk you wont be able to see the LEDs.

Thats just being extremely nitpicky.

I heard teh H500i looks great, but the H700I has a design flaw that actually shows the LED's where the H500I has them hidden better.

If there is one thing, I love about NZXT cases is, building a system in them. They are the most user friendly and easy along with cleanest looking builds you can make even for a new person working with computers.

Have this case, would recommend. I'm replacing the 3 front fans it came with though, with quieter ones. Cat loves to lay on the smooth surface, CPU radiator heats the top nicely while air escapes out the sides. If there's one complaint I have it's that the power button is too easy for a cat/critter to push, I lost a few FPS games because of my PC shutting down suddenly, while my cat looked at me with smug satisfaction. Nothing a little hard plastic/cardboard and tape can't fix but it doesn't look the best either.

I bought it after reading this review, and honestly, its one of the best buys ever. Everything is user friendly and easy to mount, a few modular parts and really good looking overall. Materials are even better that I expected. Case totally recommended.

But has 2 little things to comment...
First one is the software, it's a pain in the ass having 2-3 programs that do exactly the same, (Corsair link bc AIO liquid cooling, MSI Command Center bc motherboard...), and it would be better if they only added fan control and RGB options...
And also, and this is just a little detail, if you install a 240 radiator at the top, it's impossible to fit a 120mm fan next to it unless you use a driller. Fan would physically fit but holes doesn't:

But appart from this 2 things, it's an amazing case.

Looks very well built ... and I am no fan off aggressive case styling .... but once could mistake this for a humidifier.
