I bought for my self a presant a Nzxt Kraken X62 with Noctau NF-A14 PWM fans.
When i had the pump on 100% in the bios (asus, ryzen 3600) it ran in silent mode (2000 rpm) so i installed nzxt cam after the kraken x firmware software update there was.
No i could adjust the pump so i would be shure to run at max rpm, performance. At max rpm it's silent, at lower rpm (there are 5% steps), theres a very small difference, i choose 75% (about 2270-2280 rpm) mabye a difference of max 2 db, it's quiet but i can hear it at 100% if i listen to it or there no music, sound from my speakers, for silent freaks it's certainly not loud, just a weak rumble, alot more intrusive having constant coilwhine from a gpu.
I choose different fans to get max performance with as low noise as possible with no more than 1200 rpm, at 1150rpm or so (1200rpm +/- 10%) i thought it wasn't intrusive or sounded bad, so i skipped the LNA adapter so they could run without any limit.
My questions
How good are the stock fans, i haven't tried them but they are supose to be one of the better aio fans.
Would it make any difference, advantage of having the fan connected to the kraken instead of the mb? (having contorl of the fans without having to go to the bios every time i need to adjust the fan speed.
