Good work to everyone programming the new page! Incredible, professional and will give any visitor ambition to join. Total props, keep up the good work TPU. Best site ever:rockout:

And maybe just a suggestion, change a little bit on each page, unless thats in the process too.

Looks very sleek, but I'd have to say the colors look to "dull". Too far in between dark and light, sorta washed out feeling of color. (i.e. lack of saturation)

Looks very nice and I like the new controls on the front page, but I think the TechPowerUp logo needs to be more bold/standing out more, maybe just a bit bigger? it needs more authority. maybe a ! in darker orange will do the trick.

Im going to take a peak at the new case gallery look.

I must say the website looks more professional, very nice layout W1z, but this area is ugly, it does not conform to the site.

Maybe they could be more colorless like this and light up to full color with mouse hover on. Now they pop out from the backround more than techPowerUp logo and it's not good.

EDIT:

Doesn't like the heading "techpowerUp" in green and orange. :ohwell:

And i'm missing the download section on the left.

The rest looks quite promising. :toast:

Layout isnt too bad. I like the removal of the side bars, makes it look less cluttered.

Still think there are too many news posts though ;).

Really like the scroll on the reviews :).

hmm.. its ok, i like some of the layout, but i miss the menu to the left, kinda makes me feel lost on the main page.

and i really do prefere the old logo tho, like a brand logo that could be affixed to hardware etc.. now its just a word.

still good work and the case mod gallary is REALLY good!

you will get used to the top menu in no time. took me a while to accept the design decision as well but it gives us more content space.

let me see if i can desaturate the colorful buttons a bit

I like the new theme on my desktop which runs 1920x1200, it looks very sleek and simple. Colors are fine, but the link buttons seem to dark to me, and I think you should change the background colors for the sub sections, either the news or linked reviews from other sites, just to make one or the other stand out a bit better and break the continuous scrolling white.

But I must say that I hate it on my nokia 770. The theme is too wide, and doesnt render properly on either the included opera browser, or the minimo browser. The original theme fit perfectly into the 800x480 screen, but the new one cuts off the right side of the page, including the quick search and forum information. And there seems to be a large white box between the news and the latest reviews section, and Im not sure why, it could be an issue with the java scripts but Im hardly a web guy :p
Ill try to get some pictures in the morning.

Looks good now (at least for me).

Would the date bar follow normally those buttons? So there usually wouldn't be any articles right below them, if not a special occasion.

If it will be like this, looks better again and no header or something is needed for those buttons.

edit: Oh and missed left sidebar too, but already got used to the new layout and won't change back to old one =) Page width was also perfect, I use my browser in a window and my usual brozer size was almost exactly the width of the new page :p
