I wouldn't say playing with voltages is exactly easy. I've heard of some people taking hours of painstaking benchmarking and stability testing to dial in just the right amount of voltage to allow for system stability while not cooking said processor to death. I've heard of people dialing in voltages to the thousandths place (third number after the decimal point). And then there's setting an appropriate AVX offset as well.I said you’d have to apply appropriate voltage. And yes, it really is that easy.
