The 650 W FSP Dagger Pro cannot compare to the SFX competition because its performance is not on par with the EVGA 650 GM, which is also based on an FSP platform and costs the same as the Dagger. As such, you should only buy the Dagger if you need two EPS connectors since the EVGA 650 GM only has one.

Im curious to why they didnt use an FDB fan. While 92mm FDB fans arent as popular, they still exist and Arctic make some and Zalman did too at one point but most likely dont anymore.

They would cut out a lot of motor noise and last longer too.

Already asked for a sample of the EVGA.

FDB fans don't live long at>40C temperatures while DBB don't have a problem under such high operating temperatures.

Fair point. I only say this because there have been PSUs with 120, 135 and 140mm fans that use FDB fans. Did a bit of googling and even my AX series corsair PSU has a dual BB fan.

This is also why all graphics card are equipped with DBB fans instead of FDB fans since they are mounted on a heatsink that gets hot the DBB fans wouldn't have a problem operating under high temperature

Would be great if you reviewed the new seasonic GX line to see if they improved upon focus plus, and properly test the OCP and ripple at overpower.
