Razer announced their intro into the monitor market with the Raptor. The Raptor is a 27" diagonal monitor sporting an IPS panel with a 2560 x 1440 resolution. That many pixels tick along at a rate of 144 Hz and 1 ms response time - which is made fluid and jitter-free with recourse to AMD's FreeSync. Additionally, the panel sports the lowest available HDR certification in the form of HDR 400, with brightness levels of 420 nits.

Razer is quoting a 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut on the "edge-to-edge" monitor. The Raptor also features support for Razer's Chroma and a RGB LED on the base of the aluminium stand, which incorporates a built-in CNC cable management solution running through the back. The Razer Raptor can now be pre-purchased for $699.

Basically gigabyte's "tactical display" with razer name on it.

Anyone knows 24", 2560x1440, 144Hz, ips, freesync display? I mean the same as these two mentioned but 24".

No need to go that far, Acer, Philips and Samsung all sell 4K, although admittedly TN screens, locally here for around $300 or less.

Yeah I know I should have mentioned IPS ( I guess I am a snob). The funny thing about the Korean monitors is that if you ordered it today it would be in your hands by Thursday.

yep razer tax is exactly right. they think they are the Apple company but for gaming, it's a bit funny :D this monitor is def not worth 700 bucks. maybe if it was HDR600 certified... but even then they would be right on the limit.

pixio has a new monitor, same specs as this one, for $430. dci p3 95% 165hz 1440p, IPS, etc. 400 nits too.

Which monitor would you guys recommend?
AORUS FI27Q-P or Pixio PX7 Prime 27

PX7 is $220 cheaper and seems very similar to the FI27Q-P.

What would you use a swivel for anyway. No one games on a monitor that's swiveled. That's only good for reading text.

Yeah I know that you can get Korean 32" 4K monitors for like $300 US.
32" 4k VA panels start at under 300€ here in Germany (with 19% VAT). Amazon.de sold the Samsung U32J592 for 249€ a week ago (I bought it to replace my AOC 32" 4k since that has no Freesync and the Samsung has 40-60Hz Freesync). Whenever I go looking for Korean monitors, there aren't really any deals out there that make the hassle of importing it worth it. When I bought my 1440p overclockable (managed 100Hz) QNIX 2710 for about 300€ (with VAT), the cheapest 1440p60 monitor here was about 500€ I think and there were none with higher refresh rates. Now 1440p144Hz monitors from AOC, Acer, Viewsonic, MSI, LG cost the same as the Korean ones, same with 4k displays which don't even offer overclocking as an added bonus. Ultra wides in the 3440x1440 ranges might offer something better, I haven't checked (since I can't go below 4k anymore). But the market has really dried up here.

What am I use it for is not relevant.
The point is this thing costs 699 , basic spec and doesn't include an all functional stand.

Swivel is side to side, you're thinking about rotation, no?

Maybe He wanted to say pivot, which enables the monitor to go landscape or portrait orientation.
