Why is anybody putting time on reviewing this clearly (by far) inferior stuff these days ? I am talking vs. TRX40.

Because to not review it would have the internet screaming that TPU reviews are biased and TPU are shilling for X, Y, Z camp.

Which would be quite ironic given a recent now deleted news post.

::EDIT::

Oh, and TPU needs the clicks while also remaining impartial with their reviews, though reviewers individually may have some bias - so long as they stick with the format. Nobody cares.

Mkay, so why at the summary they list as Cons "only" :
  • Price
  • Not enough USB on rear I/O
NOT a S I N G L E word about AMD's platform being better in each and every aspect (like Price/Perf etc) ... ?
?!

I guess you don't understand what the word 'impartial' means

"impartial" means also listing all the flaws and all the good sides of the product, no ?
"Desperate times call for desperate measures." being Intel is the desperate one ?
Let's agree to disagree - you have your opinion and I have my own. HOWGH

Well... Its commonsense. The bullet points were more of a summary. 'Price' under the cons means the CPU *ALONE* is expensive or unusually expensive. Without actually having to drag an entire star chart of current CPUs and competitors CPUs for an apples to apples or apples to oranges price comparison.

If youre reading it from a standpoint where youre mentally infusing your own personal preferences and opinions into the review then then problem is you. Not the reviewer or the review itself because youre the one getting mad they didnt drag Intel kicking and screaming through the dirt in the review.

The review was too Neutral for you and you're butthurt about it.

There are more important things in life to get mad about....

Live with it or join a website that caters to your own personal views and opinions rather than pushing others to change and lose their Neutral reputation on the internet.

(Though one might Question if TPU has any reputation left at all with recent events)

AMD is better in theoretical realm. One which cares about security a lot. Otherwise its not.

There's a very simple answer to this question.
Do you need to read tests of competing products to know that AMD is better or are you sure of it no matter what?

seems the review shows enough charts that prove this is just an average board.

Actually the board is quite excellent - like most AsRock Taichi before it.
It's well equipped and well built.
And, at $400, it's not that expensive as well. The other x299 mobo in the comparison is way more expensive at $600. Even X570 Taichi costs $300.

The only average thing here is the review. The most differentiating factor in motherboards are features, while this text focuses on performance using - sometimes really weird/pointless - benchmarks.
The funniest part is that while the summary mentions WiFi 6 in pros, transfer isn't tested - meaning one of the most important chart one could think of is actually missing.

Trying to figure out why people that are only interested in AMD even bother to comment on these reviews. I guess people forget that you can see something you don't like on the Internet, ignore it and move on with one's life.
