USB-C for the dongle but micro-USB for the charge cable/port, how bizarre.
USB-C for the dongle but it doesn't work with Apple devices, how bizarre.

Would've been nice if they'd included a USB-A to micro-USB or USB-C to micro-USB cable/dongle so that people with older phones that only have micro-USB can use this headset, but that probably isn't their target market anyway.

Looks ok but the construction looks a bit worrysome. Im specificly speaking about the part where the earcups connect to the headband. In the pictures where there are L and R inside and 4 screws,. This may eventually lead to crack and then one of the earcups coming loose.

That was the problem i faced with Siberia 800 before Arctis series came around. Hope it's constructed of sturdier material than just plain ABS plastic.

Currently im using the $350 Arctis Pro Wireless. Compared to this portable model it is intended for more indoor use, has a base station and a completely unique (and awesome) dual battery system that no other wireless headset on the market has. Yes it's expensive but it is truly wireless - 24/7 365 days a year. Other wireless headsets like this one in the review you still have to charge and you're not wireless if you need to use them during this time. With dual battery system it's a 30 second swap.

Lot of sets have this problem with that area. I switched to a Hyper X Cloud II part because of that. Which worked well till the little wires inside finally broke. The one great thing with them having a USB sound card is you can just plug headphones into it and keep using it. Still debating investing some time and a little money into getting the Cloud IIs functional again. Love the versatile frame but, for the same price of fixing I got a OneOdio headphone that has a much better cable system. Sounds just like the Cloud II and even can enable the virtual 7. Another idea would be to try to extract the OneOdios and mod them into the Cloud IIs. I've no need for a mic since I've got a big Yeti desktop mic. Dunno if I want to really invest the time into doing that either.

I used the Arctis 7 but didn't like the way it sounds. Probably because I am used to my Steelseries 5Hv2 headset. To me it just sounds more crisp and clear, especially in pc gaming. I returned the Arctis 7. Not sure if this version has similar sound quality with the Arctis 7.

How do these headphones compare to Arctis 5? I wouldn't mind losing the wireless feature if the Arctis 5 provide better sound quality both in music and games/movies.
