BitFenix Introduces the Alchemy 3.0 ARGB GPU Bracket

BitFenix today announced an accessory for your graphics cards' safety, whilst adding some bling to your build. The Alchemy 3.0 ARGB GPU Bracket is little more than a support for your graphics card which installs in your PC case and provides physical support to prevent sagging and other problems that may arise from deploying a graphics card with a high-performance, heavyweight custom cooling solution (it literally supports graphics cards with weights going up to 7.5 Kg and 80-120 cm long).

The Alchemy 3.0 ARGB GPU Bracket features ARGB lighting which users can control and customize to their liking, and the 18 available mounting holes ensure maximum compatibility regardless of your graphics card. It also comes with three different extension holders, sizing up at 45 mm, 80 mm and 120 mm. The GPU bracket will take up three free PCI slots on your build, though, so keep that in mind if you're planning on using this.

Seriously why 99% of cases follow the current design is beyond me?

Reverse(inverted)-ATX solves 99.9% of sagging* issues (even with very heavy cooper liquid cooled blocks). The cooler weight rest on PCB below it. PCB acts as an anchor. Just like 90 degree flipped motherboards. Here - no sag whatsoever for all eternity. Oh and let's not forget about horizontal motherboard trays of course.

yes and maybe comes with clc cooler for the cpu cause there isn't any air cooling cpu solution that would fit.

Eh?! Isnt the whole point of a bracket/support to make that go away? I mean, anything from a brick to a chopstick will do that 100%. This overpriced piece of lit plastic cannot...

There are more practical, elegant and less "in your face" solutions to brace your GPU than this colorful monstrosity.

You can get better results with some legos.
Below is my solution to the sag introduced by using a morpheus ii (massive cooler that fits 2 120mm fans) to cool my 580, sure it doesn't have RGB but it actually works and isnt a glaring advertisement.

There's a bunch of these on Aliexpress. But anyway, why do so many of the PC parts makers assume we want to buy something with GIANT logos of theirs showing constantly?

They aren't that obtrusive. Mine cost around $4, but I still need to set it up properly it as my card is sagging a little

My MSI geforce came with one: you need two empty slots next to it, which was not my case, and after installing it just for testing it resulted useless against sag.

You definitely need empty slots, but if anything it reduces the force on the gpu pcie slot itself.

Basically if you have any other PCIe device (soundcard, USB card etc) this is a no go.
There are plenty of options that don't take up any slots and will do the same job - but you don't get disco lights with them.

I guess this will appeal to some.

They fit with other pcie cards, you just place them under and screw the plate in front of them.

Heh they all do that.

EKWB puts a big glowing EK logo on a angle with their GPU blocks, so in any normal case mount, you advertise for them constantly.
