Intel 10th Gen Core "Comet Lake" Lineup and Specs Revealed

That they're gunning for AMD, but they're not dropping the integrated GPU, they're still using a 14nm process, and they're not making any multi-chip modules, it's all monolithic... Intel apparently isn't satisfied just to beat AMD. It is willing to let AMD take the lead, unless it can beat AMD with one hand tied behind its back! I think Intel's stockholders should have a little talk with its management.
 
Not doing multi-chip modules is a good thing.
Integrated GPU is arguable but I would still consider it a good thing.

7nm EUV is on track for 2021, can't get any faster than that. Expect 8 core 50% ipc uplift in under 100mm2 mainstream 96 EU Gfx included. 30 mm2 per every additional 8 core increment. At 7nm intel could make 80 core just like that.

I see only 2 SKU's that can sell vs AMD's offering, those are the cheap i3 4c/8t for gamers on budget and the 6c/12K Unlocked model for those who want the max FPS with 5Ghz+ all core OC.
If prices right (CPU+MB options) then those parts can sell nice in DIY market for gamers.

Well one good thing with intel is that I can carry over whatever cheapo ddr4 I had from my previous system and it won't bottleneck the beejesus out of it.
 
To all the "intel should give up the iGPU":
Well, I wouldn't buy a CPU with no iGPU. No corporation would buy CPUs which need an additional GPU. You guys should understand that the retail pseudo-enthusiast market is a niche.
There is a market for such SKUs, but it's a tiny one. Enough to dump some waste silicon on, certainly not big enough to warrant building separate process lines for.
