Why does my i5 8265u only boost to 2.2? Need some expertise

I do not worry about the DEFCON rating. Just keep clicking and go check for some updates. This lets you hide the updates you do not want and the script disables and blocks automatic Windows updates in the future. This gives me more control so I can try to find out what an update is all about before installing it.

You can search Microsoft for individual updates if you think they are safe.

Microsoft Update Catalog

Just enter the KB number into that site and do a search. In my example above, just enter KB4530715
