So, adding 1 + 1, it really doesn't matter that it was a mid-range card, does it? In most cases, people are buying for performance, not chip size, transistor count, board label, or anything else. It is pretty much performance. Would anything have really changed if the board was labeled a 100 or 102?
This is exactly the only reason it ever made it to consumer gpus.
Indeed. The one and only time I used XFire was it's 'hey-day'. The HD 6800 series. It was total trash. Never again.
