One doesn't need anything but common sense, to figure it's a hardware problem, and I mean actual actual issues, not obvious paid shills, like that thicc account.
ASUS admitting they messed up with cooler attachment, would lead to such problems.

plenty of non-asus navi cards out there.anything strix branded is way overpriced to begin with.

and continuously calling people you disagree with "paid shills" is a sign of two things: one,you're not interested in normal discussion but rather your usual name calling and flamebaiting.two,if one does nothing but call people "shills" guess what that makes him.

Driver issues. I assume some here want to have those. Don't want to repeat myself but I still have friends who bought the Navi and still they have no issues. Besides, issues happen. For instance. An issue can be loud fan (settings in the driver) but is it really an issue?. For me it isn't. Just set the curve manually and you are good. Most of these "driver issues" are related to this type of thing. I wouldn't call them an issue but it can be improved via driver update.
Not saying there are no other issues but it is weird that one has these "issues" and the other person doesn't yet they are still using the same driver.

I do find it kinda weird that some people have no issue at all, while some people need to disable Freesync to prevent black screen, some need to change motherboard PCIE gen setting, some need to disable GPU power saving setting, some need to modify/delete registry value for them to get the GPU to work etc.

For some people, all those "fixes" don't work at all. I guess they are not worthy enough to use the almighty Navi GPUs.

AMD driver does eventually get stable, eventually. e.g. Polaris

Maybe it is a matter of what is the issue. I dont see an issue if would have to adjust fan curves but for others it may be like a major problem and they call it driver issue. hard to tell maybe it does depend in some extent to the experience the user has regarding GPUs.
