The ADATA SE760 is a high-performance portable SSD with USB 3.2 10 Gbps support to reach transfer rates of more than 1 GB/s. Inside the durable metal case we found a full-size M.2 drive, with a controller from Realtek and 3D TLC flash from Micron.

The other option is to buy a 2TB m.2 SSD and put it in an M.2NVME to USB 3.0 enclosure.

Why spend $170 when you could spend $230 for twice the storage?

That's probably a SATA M.2 drive, cheapest I can find is Sabrent Rocket Q 2 TB for $240 (using QLC)

But yes, if you feel comfortable building your own, that's definitely an option

No Microcenter has Intel 660p M.2 Nvme 2TB for $220.

Crucial M.2 2TB is $220 as well.

I absolutely know the difference between Sata and M.2.
