I like in the How to redeem instructions to upload the Image of Intel product color box. With the wrong instructions will that seemingly void the redemption process?

That's not hard to imagine, rumor has it they also lie (among many others) about power consumption to the CPU possibly resulting in their untimely death, or so one site lead you to believe :shadedshu:

only some MSI bios lied about it, not all of them. that was last I heard anyway, Asus was the only honest one from the articles I briefly read about it on Techspot. but meh i don't really know much about that stuff, MSI seems to be doing good on all fronts now

why would you be buying a midrange z490 board if not a gamer? if you are a creator then you should be buying the Asus 300-400 dollar z490 boards for thunderbolt 3 and other features

Where did you pluck Z490 from? I certainly don't have one, and the article is about B550.

I'd class B550 as mid range, and that is my preferred board unless a high end one pops up for a bargain.
Entry level boards tend to be very limited in features, and high end seems to mean high price to the manufacturers.

B550 lineup from MSI is a disgrace, they reducing I/O set ( USB type A specifically ) in their back panel. Not gonna had MSI for my future B550.
