ADATA brought a new level of illumination to the memory market with the XPG SPECTRIX D60G which boasted more RGB LEDs per square millimeter than any other kit out there. Now, they've released a Ryzen optimized spec with Samsung B-die, running at 3600 MHz with tight timings of 14-15-15-35.

The cost difference is quite a premium for performance differences that are pretty much within the margin of error in most cases, and definitely not noticeable in everyday use.

Just the clocks and timing combination alone will tell you this is b-die. Tempting.

Been using the spectrix D60G 17-18-18 1.35v (2x8gb) kit for a couple of months now.

That 14-15-15 kit looks to just be the same kit with a better XMP and more voltage. I'm almost tempted to have a play and see if the CL17 kit can do those timings with that voltage as I've been able to run 15-16-16 without any voltage tweaks (1.35v).

The ram calculator has been suggesting 14-14-15 for my kit at 1.45v. I've just not felt the urge to push the voltage that high.

Incidently the CL17 kit retails for much less. I was able to get mine for £105 so about $130 ish.

I was researching Ram for a while before buying some recently and I noticed the same, tighter timings with a higher voltage on what appears to be the same Ram with different brands.
Some suggest up to 1.5V for high speed tight timings.

I had the D40G RGB and they were great. I want to get the D60G units. Can you maybe confirm if the XPG Sync software allows this memory also to react to Sound? aka When sound plays, the ram will react to the sound.

Hi,
DDR4 seems a tad late in the game for these especially 2x8
Wouldn't ddr5 be a better area to release.

Put on the big girl panties and do some 2x16 at c14

If you really want to impress someone that is.
