EA and Crytek have been preparing to remaster the popular Crysis game for some time. And finally, we know the dates when we can see some gameplay as well as when we can get the game to play it. On the official Crysis YouTube channel, there is a video titled "Crysis Remastered - Official Gameplay Trailer Premiere", which is premiering on July 1st at 12 PM ET / 9 AM PST time. After the July 1st premiere, the full game will be available on July 23rd. You can set a reminder on YouTube so you get a notification when the premiere starts. Below we have put the YouTube link so you can check it out and join others in waiting.

[Update 1: Added some more details on technology and potential release date)
A number of technologies will be employed in this Remaster. Textures have been upscaled, redesigned, and base artwork such as sky boxes have been worked on. There are new anti-aliasing techniques, screen space directional occlusion (SSDO), Voxel-based global illumination (SVOGI), and updated depth of field effects. New light configuration options, updated motion blur techniques and parallax occlusion mapping join the cadre, with new particle effects upping the ante in terms of on-screen mayhem. Heavy-hitting technologies such as volumetric fog, light rays, and software-based ray tracing (we'll just have to see if that one doesn't bring about some "Can it run Crysis?" comments) have also been added. Perhaps we'll get new, official information on the games' release date (a Microsoft Store listing seems to spill the beans on July 23rd) and distribution outlets for the PC version (the game will also be available on the current generation of consoles). Just wait until tomorrow. Check the video below to see what hour the trailer will be available in your time-zone.

Hopefully they'll push the hardware once again. The RTX Titan shouldn't be able to reach 30 let alone 60 in the highest settings.

I hope they optimize it to use multiple cpu cores and also add full ray tracing, 4k textures, tessellation, and dx 12. If they make it into a benchmark demo then I might have to buy it again for the third time.

I'll just leave you with this...

Finally we can say, "yes but, can it run Crysis Remastered?"
Yes but, can it real time Crysis reMasterTrace?

I totally agree with you. Since the first Crysis we haven't seen a truly groundbreaking game like this, and that was back in 2007. And I blame consoles for that.

Despite the fact Ubisoft itself is well a scummy company I was impressed by the visuals on The Division. In regard to Crysis it was defiantly a very forward thinking it's no wonder it held up well visually.

If I'm not mistaken, Crysis Remastered for PC is being released at Epic Games on 18th September, at least according to this IGN trailer, with 8K textures...cue the can it run...
What puzzles me is why Crytek's YouTube channel doesn't have the very same video. It is their game after all.
Edit:
According to The Verge, "Crysis Remastered will now launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and Epic Games Store on September 18th for $30."

I watched it on their channel, but still a bit disappointed, the polygon count isn't high enough, IMO games need 2 things much more polygons and higher quality textures, the rest is great, but seeing some rounded objects more like a hexagon is disgusting (in control they even Ray Traced such a thing instead of giving it much needed curviness) or blurry mess you see in some textures.

A very high-end graphics mode is included, called 'Can It Run Crysis?' which is a neat marketing trick. I wonder how many PCs will be able to run the game in that mode?

Maybe since it's a remaster as opposed to a remake like Black Mesa, Crytek were limited in how much they could achieve?

Makes sense, the game seems to be the same in general. But given how the original game focused on graphics and how they used it to promote this remaster (can it run crysis mode) it's very disappointing.

Personally I would love a remaster of the first FAR CRY game and the first 2 DeusEx games. Those are something I would pre-order.
