I have my SB-E modded with 4x gentle typhoon ap-15 120mm fans, need to swap in future with NF-A15 fans cuz they might be right cuz its a 140mm heatsink and i put 120 on it, but it working very well on my i7-6800k keeping it under 80° on load overclocked at 4.20v 1.35v trust me this is much hottest than ur i7-9600kf or things like that.

Silver Arrow SB/IB is the best heatsink still at today dates, seem nothing exist better for same quality or heatsink dimensions

I kinda of agree, the D15 lost its title .... forum users like baby dicks tend to get imprinted with the 1st post they read on the internet ... and while the D15 has been beaten, 1st by the mugen max and than by the Mugen 2, folks still can't shake what they read as internet toddlers.

Noctua D15 = 81C
Scythe Fuma 2 = 80C

Noctua D15 = 42 dbA
Scythe Fuma 2 = 40 dbA

Now of course one can argue that the D15 beats the Scythe in FPU test by 2C and that should count for something .... No, I don't agree.... I'm looking for the Cooler that performs best in a setting most akin to the reality of the apps on my system.... my system will never run a FPU test.

And it lost that title mosty because of the fans ... Noctua lost the fan title 7 years ago when the Phanteks fans arrived on the market. Take the Noctua fans off a Noctua cooler and the temps drop 6C at the same rpm.

I bought this cooler. After 3 months in the system, the pins that keep the clips attached to the fans has broken. The ones highlighted in the attached picture.
While it is impressive cooling wise ... fans must be attached to function.

That's just poor design.
I'd return it to the shop If it was mine.
Even if that pin is alloy, it's too small to have any strength in it.

Yeah true - i bought it refurbished in good condition for 50 euro. Rubber bands keep the fans attached for now. Will see if if i can get warranty for it.

If you aren't able to get warrenty for it, I'd recommend switching to zip-ties. Rubber bands can degrade over time.
