I'm completely beginner with these things.

Computer: Acer Predator G3-710

I bought a used desktop and the seller said it might need new ssd soon.
The computer run everything no problem.

Year later I noticed it slowed down a bit so I googled and figured I should get evo-860.

I opened pc and checked tutorial on youtube.

In the video there is already ssd in the red circle. Not sure If i got scammed or what. I noticed 2 cables and connected them to the evo-860. The white cable couldn't be connected to anywhere?

I also took the graphic card out to clean it a bit. It was hard to take out and I feel like I yanked it too much before using an extra tool to pin the release button completely.

I started the pc again and I keep hearing this beeping and clicking sound every 3-4 seconds and then the monitor turns off after 30-40 minutes and can't be turned back on.

leave the white cable alone.
maybe its just some cabel getting in the fan of your graphic card.
check if anything ya removed is seated correctly in their slots. especially your graphic card

and a photo how it looks like now will help!

Thanks for reply. The graphic card is seated correctly and I made sure there were no wires.

The photo is how it is now without evo-860.

Oops, forgot to say that. The beeping and clicking is coming from the graphic card.

Yes the monitor "looses" connection and can't be turned back on without restarting cp.

Reseat the gpu again, ensure the pcie cable is connected as that's usually when you would get a beep from the gpu

Looks like a Kepler graphics card, GTX 670? Anyhow that power supply might not be enough to power that thing and is perhaps on its way out. Try locating the source of the clicking.
You can also turn off the PC (pull power cord out) for 1/2 hour and then remove PSU and open it up (4 screws) to see if there are any faulty condensers inside...

a big but this is "dangerous" even after half hour there could be currents still inside-so i would advise not doing it.

and plz consider op said i am complete beginner with these things-not saying he does not know but there is little to gain from opening the power supply.

be careful stay safe

Im 100% sure the graphic card keeps peeping and clicking. It also gets super hot before shutting down the monitor.

CP was working fine for 2 hours till I connected 2nd monitor and actually started doing heavy softwares on it.

Might have to take it to shop.

Perhaps try running the PC with a different power supply if you can get one to test.
