I am not sure around 40% performance improvement makes it very similar to the 580?I'm waiting for RDNA2, but i would like to replace my 3-4 years old but good-ish RX570 8GB card in the same price range as it was released in 2016 around 200-250 € and 8 GB is must for me in/for 2020+.
Don't know what options i'll have on the AMD side and how good their drivers will be, but i most definitely don't like the increased princing on both side and don't like that the AMD/RTG was too eager to follow NV's pricing, when specwise the 5700 was very similiar to the 580 but 100€ more expensive, so i'm not in that much of a hurry to buy anything from them as soon as possible..
