Gigabyte Preparing RTX 3060 Ti Graphics Cards

Gigabyte has recently submitted four new GPUs to the Eurasian Economic Commission (found by @KOMACHI_ENSAKA) for certification. These four cards all feature the N306T designation which is expected to refer to the upcoming NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti. Thanks to Gigabyte's consistent naming structure we can make a strong educated guess on the upcoming models by looking at their part numbers. The expected models are the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Aorus Master 8G (GV-N306TAORUS M-8GD), Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Gaming OC 8G (GV-N306TGAMING OC-8GD), Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Eagle OC 8G (GV-N306TEAGLE OC-8GD), and the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Eagle 8G (GV-N306TEAGLE-8GD).

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB is expected to be announced later this month in response to AMD's RX 6000 series. The RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB will likely feature the 8 nm GA104-200-A1 graphics processor with 4864 CUDA cores, our expected specifications can be found here.

If that CUDA core count is right I'd estimate more like 2080 performance, and the 3070 would be more like somewhere between 2080S and 2080Ti

Wonder what clock speeds this one will have. It has less cuda cores so maybe the boost clocks will be higher than those higher tier counterparts.

Mmmm, if I look at the benchmark charts, it's likely that the RTX3070 will surpass the 2080Ti by around 10% and the RTX3060Ti will most likely be around 10% slower than the 2080Ti. Time will tell.

Otherwise, the gaps in the charts will look to big between all the models and wouldn't make sense price/performance wise. Anyways, it's just a guess, time will tell.

I think that if we divide core counts by 2, we would know performance boost from Turing.
RTX 3080 = 8704/2 = 4352
RTX 3070 Ti = 6144/2 = 3072
RTX 3070 = 5888/2 = 2944
RTX 3060 Ti = 4864/2 = 2432
RTX 3060 = 3840/2 = 1920 (I don't think it is powerful as 2080, maybe core count would be 2176(For me))

RTX 2070 = 2304
RTX 2070S = 2560
RTX 2080 Ti = 4352

RTX 3080 = 1,3 * RTX 2080 Ti (average performance in games)


Predicted performance of RTX 3060/3070 (i wrote 1,25 because of memory speed)

RTX 3060 = RTX 2060+%25 / RTX 2070+%5 RTX 3060(2176 CUDA) = RTX 2060S+%25 / RTX 2080+%2

RTX 3060 Ti = RTX 2070S+%20 / RTX 2080S+%9 also it has got 8GB VRAM.

RTX 3070 = RTX 2080+%25 / RTX 2080 Ti+%2
RTX 3070 Ti = RTX 2080 Ti+%12 but it will have 16GB VRAM.

Also, price is important as performance. If RTX 3060 is $220-250, it will be best GPU on perf/price. RIP RTX2060/2060S/2070/2070S/2080/2080S because of price, otherwise performances of these GPUs are well. I think that RTX 3060 Ti will be destroyer of 2000 series. I hope Nvidia won't release RTX 4000 in 2021.

It's angles for the sake of angles. I guess all the Asian AIB vendors are trying to copy the geometric shrouds of the 10-series FE cards but completely failing to understand that symmetry and parallel lines are what make that geometric design attractive:

Most of these angular cards from Asian AIBs are all just a fugly mess
