yay more trackballs, not enough companies make these anymore imo.
that said I dont understand why its wireless, I mean handy for on the go or so I guess but the whole point of the mouse is that you dont move it soooo why wireless?

Hahaha, reminds me of my old Logitech trackman marble from 1999 (I used to turn it upside down with the ball on the desk for superfast arcade games), those were the days.... Connected to a Pentium 233 w/ mmx 64MB of EDO RAM, 4.3GB HDD, 2x CD-RW, 24X CD-ROM, ATI 3D Rage Pro (4MB of VRAM if I remember), Sound Blaster 32 AWE.... I remember I also had Video Capture card with S-Video and I'd encode videos in Real Video (remember real audio?) , haha, man I loved playing Command and Conquer Red Alert on that thing.

I've tired trackball once or twice, but it's super awkward to me. I just can't get used to it. But there is an audience, I know at least one die hard fan of trackballs.

The polling rate and DPI on them often get too overlooked is one negative with most of them. That other part about the ball bearings is also big. The old school ones like in arcade trackballs had ball bearings with shafts and god they were smooth you could fling that ball and it would keep spinning for a long damn time. It was wonderful for games like Joust. Stuff just isn't built like it use to be sadly sometimes for the better other times for the worse.

I often miss my ADB Kensington Turbo Mouse 5, so I might have to check this one out.
