Probably for business markets. Saves a little money if you only have to replace a faulty or dead motherboard instead of the board + CPU...

I mean, look at the ports. Not one, but two PS/2 ports (pretty much business market there, where you could find people using +10 years old keyboards and mice simply because they still work fine), VGA (again, somewhat old monitors supported, business market) and basic sound support (microphone and a pair of speakers or a headset).

And having only two DIMM slots and a rather basic USB port set pretty much screams small business which just need to drive Office apps, web browsers and little else.

Hell yea, fresh pc, smells like victory.

Personally it is better to infest over littlr bjt than to try keep old stuff. Which have higher posibility to stop working.

Best decision you've ever made. I ditched my last G41 rig at the office around 2 years ago, replaced one with DeskMini 110, rebuilt the other one w/ Haswell i5 in my old Chieftec Dragon case, which at the end gave me tons of advantages.
Both PCs, a pair of mini-servers and all of our networking equipment now runs off a single UPS while lasts 3 times as long during outages comparing to old PCs. That alone saved our asses several times during quarantine (old building, old city block, constant outages and unannounced maintenance work on electrical lines etc.)
