These are called reference boards, meaning they are all the same except the length (and terms) of warranty the individual manufacturers promise.
In terms of differences, not that this is important, but it's the only difference.

If the card can ramp up to 300W you can expect large increase in clocks. Only if it is not blocked. 2x8pin connector and you are golden.
I surely hope that is the case.

I meant in terms of VRMs, I doubt the 6800 has less phases or anything like that.

I hope the reference cooler is actually good this time. The ladt 2 gens from Nvidia has been quite good. So far none of the AMD ref-coolers have been good (except for in certain small cases where blowerstyle is good sometimes).
