With the omnipresent high levels of toxicity in the forums and significant delays in moderator response at times (in part due to 'sectioning'), I don't mind the ability to report a post that has already been reported. If this issue is severe enough, perhaps multiple reports lights a fire under whoever is available to take action before things turn worse and they have a bigger mess to clean up. All too often we've seen posts that break the rules go on for quite a while before action is taken. It doesn't always happen like this, but response could be a lot better generally.
I like that symbol which shows a post had action taken on it. What's odd is if the post breaks the rules, why is it left for all to see in the first place? Sometimes there is relevant content, other times, we've been left scratching our heads on why it was left there.
