EK goes all in with the AIO Elite 360 D-RGB. For this release, the company took their 360 D-RGB unit, added more RGB Vardar fans, and upped the performance of the pump. Add in some minor cosmetic changes and you have a top-tier, high-end all-in-one liquid cooler that delivers serious performance.

When you consider the overall performance of the cooler - and the price of the included fans - this isnt such a bad deal.

A 6-FAN push-pull 360 rad with an improved pump for $200....

Yes I would say that is a pretty fair deal, IF the fans do in fact retail for $25 each when bought seperately....

It looks like the price above is from EK's website... which may or may not offer much of a discount...but still not too bad :)

Price above is from Performance PC's based in Florida.

The price for a triple pack on Amazon or eBay is actually a little higher than buying just 3 single fans.

Lian Li Galahad 240 with a custom fan profile or Silverstone PF240. At 45 dBA both perform pretty much the same.

Lian Li offers 2'C better temps and is one of the better performing 240 mm AIOs i have tested. It does max out at 50 dBA however in order to do so. The Silverstone while being 2C hotter maxes at 45 dBA. Eitherway at same noise output both perform the same. They are also more reasonably priced at least in regards to MSRP.

I bought the 360mm (non-elite, $154.99) and one of the fans was a lemon, it failed after 50 days of use. I'm not sure about warranty/replacement since the unit had to be shipped outside USA and sending it back would cost me over usd$50.

That's rough but to be honest I have 11 of these fans from the aios still no issues also have 6 more used in a customer's rig I built about 6 months ago. So far no failures. Small sample size but with all the fans I have here my only failures have been from cooler master. So I guess as the saying goes shit happens. Hopefully if you reach out to EK they can help you out. Sometimes it requires persistent no matter the company. Example my 7970 direct cu II top my card was a dud it was wired wrong no voltage control as advertised. They sent back same card new bios same problem then sent back a different card with ln2 bios so stuck at 3d clocks 24/7 never did get a properly working gpu after 6 to 8 months. Sometimes it works out other times not so much. Hopefully in your case EKWB will step up. I would suggest doing a video showing the fan being hooked up and it's malfunction. Then take another of the fans that works fine and show it working as intended with no other changes. Drive the point home and you will likely have better luck. Just a word of advice from someone who gets too much broken stuff from eBay and has had many rmas over the years.

I'd like this, without fans as it's too loud for me.
I want the option to buy it cheaper and add my own choice of fans.

I guess you cant please everyone! I have the opposite problem now when looking at cases. Im toying with the idea of a new build in part because of a desire for a higher air flow case. It bothers me how many say they support X fans, but only come with a few installed. Im lazy and I want it done. Well, lazy enough that I dont want to be hunting around for individual fans, not lazy enough to settle for a pre-built >< *shudder*

I vote for Arctic liquid freezer II 280/360
38mm THICK Radiator with high performance fans in a relatively cheap price tag.
And no stupid prebuild RGB.

Very capable AIO. The improved pump is large and has a perfectly executed impeller. The whole package is very good and little things like thermal paste will be important for full efficiency. :)

The Silverstone is not available in my country. Maybe because it´s a little old? The price is appealing. The Lian Li Galahad 240, on the other hand, is available here but costs 120€.

Thanks for the suggestion. This is a quiet yet efficient solution, then? The 75€ price is great and I also dont like RGB ;)

joke for a company like EK being around for 20y, claiming to be (one of ) the best/premium for cooling.

a 200$ aio with alu rad, fixed connections, that needs 6 fans to drop "2*C" compared to other 280/360s,
like a 130$ eisbaer 280/360 with 2/3 fans and full copper rad, where i can replace/upgrade/extend each part as they are using g1/4.

glad ppl are still considering over priced stuff to equal "quality" and are now willing to pay as much for a CLC than it cost to get a Predator..

I have the previous version but might rma for some pump issue.

Not sure i have the space for the push pull but does the new pump worth it? I was concerned about the noise?

as noted before if i encounter pump noise i will specifically mention it in the conclusion. If the noise is never an issue (no weird tones or hums etc and is drowned out by fans 90% of the time (essentially sub 25% pwm on the fans I consider it a non issue since in a chassis you will not hear it. Mine had no pump noise issues to speak of. The fans just get loud as hell for the performance offered.

Ok so it seems mine has an issue. Do you think i should change for the new one, just for the extra power of the pump?

Also is the pre applied thermal paste as good as some kryonaut for instance? I cleaned it on mine and put kryonaut but if i had to rma maybe i should just use pre applied one?

this is the noise i have at 75% for instance:
...

And here is at 100%

here"s a video of the pump at 100% with 0 fans on..

is the AIO mounted at the front of the chassis? Hard to tell from your videos. The pump is louder than my sample but hard to tell for certain. I would say in the first video i could hear something like grinding somewhat. But again can't be sure. (using my phone atm)

hmm i can tell you it doesn't sound like my original unit or the new unit. So might be worth while to open the side panel and send EK a message with a better recording.
