EnzoTech Offers New High-End CPU Water Block

EnzoTech introduces Sapphire Series watercooling products. First on the Sapphire series roster is the SCW-1 waterblock, currently in production and will be availiable Mid-September 2007. Reminding of the popular D-Tek Fusion waterblock, the SCW-1 features super high density, radial pattern, micro-pin design (0.5mm from pin to pin) to provide maximum cooling performance. Other features of the CPU waterblock include metallic mirror coating finish and compatibility with all 1/2", 3/8" and 1/4" coolant tubings. The SCW-1 can be mounted on Intel Socket 775 and AMD Socket AM2/940.

I might just switch my apogee GT out for this beauty. I will have to wait and see how the reviews look. My friend just got the D-TeK fuzion block and he is only about 1° - 2° cooler than my Apogee. If this can give me 4° - 5° cooler, I am all over it.

When selling a WB with barbs that close, tube sizes should be mandated so the average noob knows.

If you actually look at the barbs, there is indeed a lip present to help with the seal. On top of that, the website clearly states that the barbs are 1/2" and do come with worm clamps.

I cannot wait to see the reviews for this block, because I know when Fallout 3 comes out my inner geek will once again be unleashed. If OCZ does not deliver their $300 phase, then water will be my top choice!

It looks nothing like a GTX apart from the mounting plate.

The insides are like a FuZion, I.e it has a top plate, mid chamber and base plate. The GTX has no mid chamber.

The GTX runs across a diagonal pin matrix from corner to corner which helps it gain 1 degree celcius over the ApogeeGT for every 100 watts of heat.

This block uses direct impingement to the center of the block. So basically it couldn't look any different to the GTX apart from the LGA775 mounting plate
