It looks like around 200 - 210w peak but you didn't say if yours was the 4GB or 8GB, if you have the 4GB it would be a little less ………………….

For the whole system. The card itself should be no more than 140W.

What brand is it from?

According to AMD, it should be at 130 Watts at full load. An OC'd AIB card shouldn't that much higher; should be no more than than 180 Watts max.

180W on a 5500xt would be atrocious.

Yeah apologies, didn't notice it was the whole system, I think the reference design is 130W TDP and this model is 140W TDP, it's an Asrock.

Install TPU's GPU-Z and then fire up a game or benchmark.

AMD cards will report the power consumption of the GPU core in Watts, you can click on the power readout in Watts to change the readout to AVG for your average power usage:

To get the total card power consumption, you have to do some estimating - The GPU Chip Power Draw includes the VRAM power draw (the memory controller driving the VRAM is integrated into the GPU), but it doesn't include the VRM inefficiencies or the cooling fans.

Without getting too technical, I think you want to multiply the GPU Chip Power Draw figure by 1.15 for all VRM losses, and then add 8W on top of that to cover the fans. Higher-end cards will lose proportionally more for their larger, more complex VRM arrangements. I think 15% is about right for a card like the 5500XT.
