OFFICIAL Cyberpunk 2077 Game Discussion

i was more focused on trying to get upskirt shots in the camera mode, not on her family history

too dark, for a 'freeview' camera its really limited in your options

HEY YOU WANT OVER SHOULDER EXTRA BLUR? WE GOT DAT
No-one wants to look at an old lady, unless you want to get down with Rogue...Silverhand style.

Maybe he just wants to get a better look at the tats.

I bet when she was young she was a scary Yakuza girl. Probably got full sleeves too.

All this talk about chicks makes me wanna try Kill Bill aproach ,blades only some stealth perhaps..

I'd be surprised if that wasn't a mod yet. Give it some time. I've already found the proof that it will exist. Somebody already thought to try it with what's there.

And there you have it. It's already more of the way there than you'd think. Can probably stealth with blades and then switch to the katana when stealth just isn't the way. Or I guess just sneak up behind people give em a wap across the back with a bigass 5nm-edge straight sword. :D

Sounds like plan to me ;)

I don't claim to be an audiophile by any means (although I'm no longer using "gaming" headsets and couldn't be happier), but I agree that the game does sound pretty great. The original score is very well done IMO, and I can see myself going back to it solely as a listening experience and not layered over gameplay (which I find myself doing more and more of with good game/movie/TV soundtracks).

I agree with you about the artist choices - I think part of that recognition factor they tried to avoid by having them use pseudonyms, but they sort of negated that by also revealing the real artist names too. Even if I didn't know that Yankee and the Brave was Run The Jewels, I would've recognized EL-P and Killer Mike's voices in an instant.

Also agree about the cyberpunk musical theme. I get that they wanted to include a variety of genres for the radio stations, but unless you're cruising out in nomad country, I just can't picture anybody in a cyberpunk world headbanging to death metal. Expected to see more artists along the lines of Clams Clasino, The M Machine, The Glitch Mob, etc. I'm sure there are better examples but I've been out of my EDM phase for a while now so I'm not discovering those more obscure electronic artists anymore. Doing that on the hip-hop side of things instead.
Good to see more people can appreciate the best music ever made :toast: I had myself on Radio PEBKAC almost all the time, it just nails it for the theme. Another one that works great but isn't ingame is just getting the Blade OST on your speakers.

I'd be surprised if that wasn't a mod yet. Give it some time. I've already found the proof that it will exist. Somebody already thought to try it with what's there.

Haha man I had that movie in my mind in my first playthrough, just that Japanese dinner scene alone = the game for me.

Maybe for the next level I'll try and impersonate this next time:
RUINER

Probably needs a mod or DLC to get that headpiece :D

Its glorious. Seriously. There's a video of mine earlier in the topic, to get an idea. You will destroy the game for all difficulties though.

I did my first playthrough with a non-lethal mod on my Kiroshi, it only came in handy for some missions where they would give you more money if you didn't kill anyone.
For the A.I it's apparently part of the bugs as far as they are concerned, but it's coming from a board member, so ehhh:

He 'thinks' yeah. In other words, he has no fucking clue, but maybe some NPCs will work better. All he really knows is they're bugfixing and there are bugs on NPCs too :D

That's a resounding NO. Its clear the AI needs a full rework - how it spawns, when and where it does, how wanted levels work, random events, etc. Even basic response, cover system/movement patterns are like playing the lowest level of UT'99 bots, the ones that literally walk into your Flak shell. Yes I'm that old.

The reality check, if you expect anything more than the game was on launch... wait until the first expansion. There is absolutely no way they will get a big gameplay fix in anytime soon, especially considering the number of platforms and how different each version performs. Even if they do it will be limited in scope, bandaid at best.

I know right, that old chinese lady in her leather outfit not wearing undies should've given more saggy underboob for the fans
Ahhhh....I see I am not the only one. You are also the top 1% that finished that quest.

[no there is no secret quest to romance the old lady]
However there is a quest after you finish it she will be waiting for you on top of the desk, she smoking and she moves herself a bit crossing her legs, it moves slow and if you crouch at the right time.
This is no ordinary lady either she never skipped leg day in her life - and for some reason, the devs have put the lower body on this npc that belongs to a 25-year-old.

There is a lot happening in Cyberpunk one just needs to immerse themself properly.

That's basically what my playthrough is, except I do allow myself to use Panam's silenced sniper every now and again. Quite potent, even on the hardest difficulty. It might require a bit more planning to properly path through the enemies so you're minimizing the amount of time you're getting fired upon, but that's part of the challenge.

That's pretty much my game right there snipe them from behind for double damage or hide and wait for them to move somewhere they're on their own and pop one in the head

Not sure why I only just thought of this now (maybe because we're talking about stealth), but anyone else occasionally have issues with bodies being "detected" even though you've hidden them in a container?

Not exactly Kill Bill track suit but i've made my peace with it :D
I leave bodies where they land , it strikes fear in oponents hearts

Yup whether in dumpsters or car boots and once even after dumpin the body in the river

I've had much worse - body detected when there's nobody left to detect )))
... or "crime reported" when I haven't done anything yet. Minority report? :D :D :D

Ok, last achievement left, which I'm still not sure how I'm gonna get. Need to grind one of my skills all the way to 20.
BTW, whoever asked about crafting skill being "stuck" and then "unstuck" some time later, I've got an answer - apparently you can't improve your skill higher than a parent attribute, so if you started with 3 points of Tech, you won't be able to achieve crafting higher than 3 until you pour some points into it. Same thing with other skills, like Assault/pistols/blades can't be higher than your current reflexes etc.
So, in my case, I need 20 Reflex, cause my second build is an ultimate cyber-ninja (blades, pistols, stealth). Even at lvl 25, still early in the game, I can easily kill any enemy or even cyberpsycho in one hit with a butter knife. Haven't even gotten a decent weapon yet.

Body detection does not seem to have a vision range. Or at least range is far far higher than anything else, i.e. you :D

I've had a body detected by dead enemies whilst I was rifling the dead for junk and the NCPD are a bunch of aholes on some jobs you do for them they'll rock up watch a bit then start shooting at me for reason

Well I am now level 40 and now have this much of the game left:

There are a few side jobs i'm missing I think but i've done all the ones that I had available, made romance with Panam so I will be going for the Panam route for ending.
Will share what my "end game" equipment are later.

Yeah i've gone for more balance build.

Yep, looks like my second playthrough will be the last one 'till 2022. Only 3 levels in Blades left for the final achievement.
Gonna shelve it until they fix the main game, release at least one major DLC, and wait another 4-5 months until that DLC gets its own batch of patches and hotfixes.

They easily needed another year, still a great game.

still the potential for a great game, you mean

i've been showing friends what it looks like on a 3090, and every single one has stopped and been focused on the bugs
"did that person just vanish"
"what the hell are their legs doing?"
"is that 4 people standing inside each other... wait no they all vanished"
*shoots gun, looks at feet, looks up, everyones gone*

at 8:35 he has that boss ninja guy stuck teleprorting out of reality in the lift, i had that exact same experience - and it really set the tone for me with what to expect in this game
(in that case it made a mission easier, but how likely was it that'd i'd have progress barred if it happened in another way?)
