Enthusiasts probably account for a very small portion of most AIB profits, compared to enterprise / custom solutions.

Do you guys seriously think gaming count ?? i'll spell it for you : sales matter, miners are easy money !
Easy money indeed. Considering these cards practically pay for themselves within ~3 months of mining, even a Gamer would be foolish not to join the party and embrace mining.

I'd hate to kill mine by mining and then have to source another one with the currently inflated market.

Lol I just cant get over them showing this to gamers. Its like theyre trolling them. Just a friendly reminder of where all of the gpus yall wanted went. Like, how could they do that

I mean, I have moved on from gpus for now. Theres just no point if they dont want my business. So many other things I can do. I just dont understand how a company can possibly be this oblivious. Not hard to figure out what people are gonna think.

Yes, because Zotac has such a significant foothold in the enterprise market...

My comment about Zotac would be censored...
don't worry, even if mining wasn't a thing right now and you had your choice of brand, i can assure you zotac is not one i would recommend. terrible cards honestly. Asus, MSI are top two imo, reference of course being my favorite choice, but third place would be Gigabyte, actually no I would say those 3 brands tie for first place depending on the model. and Sapphire for AMD cards and EVGA for nvidia are also top tier.

zotac is last on my list. so no worries you don't need to be sensored, Zotac sucks and always has.

If they are going to market their cards directly towards their largest customer base currently, they should make specific cards for them as well as release numbers of gaming specific cards.

They wont because miners won't buy the cards geared only towards miners, since they wont be able to resell them ...

well said. Especially about the fact that they are not very diplomatic here or "know their crowd".

Sadly, there will be no boycott. Gamers need GPU's and if they don't buy them miners will still......... so not much of a backlash for them here :(

Is it any wonder why people think of gamers as whining children?

While it can be argued that we often are bitching morons, do you truly think this is the case in this example? Really?

One by one, the manufacturers of everything will stop producing everything else and make all their production lines and workers available for making rtx and rx. Without video outputs of course, why would anyone need video? First Zotac, then TSMC, then Ford, then Hershey's, then Nutella.

World can perfectly well live without Zotac.

However I'm not sure civilization is ready for Nutella-free World. :D Remember fights in shops in France I think it was like 5-6 years ago over Nutella - there was a rumor that Nutella was shutting down. Yeah...

Nobody doing fistfights over zotac plonkers.

That's absolutely insane, I have heavily toned down this comment from a page to this consider that.

Who MADE Zotac even a thing to start with, was it miner's pre f#£@#& bitcoin, No.

At least one of the people who helped to make Zotac a thing, me , passed Zotac at least 30 sale's.

Passed tense, they don't exist to me now.

Have never used their gpu's, but liked their looks in gtx 9xx series. Considered buying them, but then saw topic, against their rtx. Which showed that their 30xx suc*s. Since then changed my mind.

Oh look, now I'm glad my Zotac 2070 died on me!

Never buying from them again. Only bought them because I needed a mini GPU that would fit in my crappy HP prebuilt case - got a new case, no longer limited by that.
