$200 USD for a 750w psu o_O
You want a shock? Look up 1000W titanium supplies. $400+. That cert is expensive to get.
EVGA and Seasonic sell modular Gold rated psu's for under $120 and those come with a 10 year warranty.
You can get non 80 plus rated PSUs for $40, what's your point? Those golds are not titanium rated.

You got it backwards the AX850 is rebranded Seasonic Prime Ultra TX so its better than the HX and especially the HXi which has far worse ripple suppression
You might be thinking of the old AX850 or AX860 which were Seasonic KM2 for the AX850 and XP2 for the AX860
I know it's a Prime, that's the reason it isn't as good. Prime also has issues, just like Focus.

I would love to link to jonnyGURU's message on jonnyguru.com, but the site is down.

Well the fine-mesh can lead to a "fine mess". If mount it in my bottom feeder case I never see it again... While then if that case a less than optimal filter, what it doesn't catch ends up stuck to this PSU fine mesh, meaning at some point you'll need to remove it and clean it. Perhaps not a big issue, but for me it's really not a feature unless I have a special case where such a PSU grill is front and center and it's then all about esthetics.

How do they look unique? To me it's just a regular modular PSU with a mesh. Also those are renders and not real photos.
Unique aesthetic really, just like the pro variants. The mesh, the way the fan is placed, etc. Not the regular mount a fan to the casing and thats it.

The AX850 is an excellent choice ;-)

I like the be quiet! PSU´s - nice and clean build - on the inside and outside......
Except, it'll be more expensive. When all is being equal, prices are the determining factor. Also, the AX850 is the most efficient PSU in its class right now, the efficiency level can reach up to 96.7%.

Boring colour. Stealth bomber black is so yesterday. Their marketing team need to come up with a nice metallic shimmer enamel limited premium edition. For the sparkles.

It costs more than regular wire grill. That's certainly one reason.
Depends on how sturdy it is, my guess it's equal or lesser in cost to the wire grill on the Dark Rock pro 11. My point was more, if they use a cheap mesh than it may be easy to dent. I think most brands & oems would rather not introduce a possible problem whose only purpose is cosmetic.

Will depend on thickness of metal used.

That will remain to be seen, though given track record of BQ in high end in that regard, I'm fairly confident in them.
